N-GIN

After a brief hiatus from web designing I got an assignment from a hard core band. This Hamed-fellow just happens to know me. I wouldn't say that the result is awe-inspiring, but since it was made (again!) in a great hurry I'm sure that no-one minds. You see, I intentionally left "a little" room for future improvement... Look ma, look!

Right Wing Radio -website
Right-Wing Radio

This site was built as a part of my bachelor's thesis. It uses XML to store data, XSLT to transform data into XHTML and PHP to process it all server-side instead of client-side. I did everything myself, excluding content of course. The frontpage is downright ugly, but that was really the least of my concerns at the time. I had to meet the deadline, even if it was set by me. The site may seem simplistic but hey, I knew next to nothing about XML, XSLT or even PHP when I started the project in January 2004. Had I given myself more time I would have made more of those Flash animations. *Update 08/2006* I removed the animations and made it a bit more pleasing to the eye... Check it out.

I designed and built this very basic website using XHTML, CSS and PHP. I'm also the webmaster.

This is the website of my band. I frequently try to better it as I learn new things (i.e. always needs a new design). This site also uses HTML, CSS and PHP.

DeeVeeDee - an imaginary online shop
DeeVeeDee

DeeVeeDee was a school project of mine for the Internet Studies (early 2003). It was my first real introduction to the world of PHP-driven sites and I learned the basics of implementing an online store (and lots more too). I used an open-source project called OsCommerce. Back then I was just developing my enthusiasm with web design so the look is... garish. The main objective was to make sure that everything worked and it did. I also translated the site from English to Finnish. Screen captures will open a new window. Choose [1] or [2]
